Ingredients: 

  • 1 egg, lightly beaten

  • 2 teaspoons of AYAM ™ soy sauce

  • 500g of chicken thigh fillets, cut into 3cm pieces.

  • ⅓ cup of cornstarch

  • 3 cups of vegetable oil

  • 210ml AYAM ™ Lemon Chicken Sauce

  • 1 tablespoon of toasted sesame seeds

  • 2 spring onions, sliced

 

Preparation:

  1. Combine egg and soy sauce in a bowl.

  2. Add the chicken pieces and toss to coat them.

  3. Then dip the chicken pieces in the cornstarch, shaking off the excess.

  4. Heat the oil in a wok or saucepan.

  5. Fry the chicken for 4-5 minutes until lightly browned and cooked through.

  6. Drain on paper towels. Set aside and keep warm.

  7. Pour the Lemon Chicken Sauce into a skillet over medium-low heat. Add the chicken, tossing gently to coat. Cook for 2 minutes or until heated through.

  8. Garnish with sesame seeds and spring onions. Serve with steamed rice.
