Yakitori AYAM sauce is an authentic Asian sauce, thick and sweet, ideal for marinades.

It is excellent for brushing grilled or barbecued meats, fish or vegetables.

Beef Teriyaki Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons of oil
  • 250g beef fillets, cut into thin slices
  • 1 onion, quartered
  • 1 small red pepper, sliced
  • 1 small green pepper, sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon of grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon of corn flour
  • 235ml or 1 cup unsalted chicken broth
  • 60ml or ¼ cup AYAM ™ Teriyaki Sauce
  • 60ml or ¼ cup mirin or rice wine
 

Preparation:

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a wok or frying pan until hot. Add half the beef, sauté for 30 seconds or until it changes color, remove. Repeat with the rest of the oil and the beef.
  2. Add the onion, red and green peppers, garlic and ginger and sauté for 1 minute.
  3. Mix the cornstarch with the broth, teriyaki sauce and rice wine, add to the vegetables with the beef and sauté for 30 seconds or until the sauce has thickened.
  4. Serve with instant noodles or rice.
