Beef Teriyaki Sauce
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- 250g beef fillets, cut into thin slices
- 1 onion, quartered
- 1 small red pepper, sliced
- 1 small green pepper, sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 tablespoon of grated fresh ginger
- 1 tablespoon of corn flour
- 235ml or 1 cup unsalted chicken broth
- 60ml or ¼ cup AYAM ™ Teriyaki Sauce
- 60ml or ¼ cup mirin or rice wine
Preparation:
- Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a wok or frying pan until hot. Add half the beef, sauté for 30 seconds or until it changes color, remove. Repeat with the rest of the oil and the beef.
- Add the onion, red and green peppers, garlic and ginger and sauté for 1 minute.
- Mix the cornstarch with the broth, teriyaki sauce and rice wine, add to the vegetables with the beef and sauté for 30 seconds or until the sauce has thickened.
- Serve with instant noodles or rice.
