
Xiu Mai Bites with Chicken

Ingredients:

300g of minced meat (chicken or other)

2 spring onions
-
80g of water chestnuts
-
2 tablespoons of AYAM ™ soy sauce
-
1 tablespoon of AYAM ™ oyster sauce
-
1 tablespoon of cornstarch (corn or potatoes)
-
freshly ground pepper
-
20 shrimp
-
20 kaffir lemon leaves
-
20 ravioli sheets (wonton type)

AYAM ™ Garlic and Ginger Chili Sauce for dipping
Preparation:

Cut the ravioli sheets in circles.

Cut half the peeled shrimp in half lengthwise, and the other half into small cubes.

In a bowl, mix together the ground chicken, chopped spring onion, chopped shrimp, cornstarch, soy sauce and oyster sauce.

Shape the xiu mai by putting a little stuffing in the ravioli sheet and fold into a cap shape.

Place a kaffir lemon leaf below each xiu mai and cook in a steamer basket for 12min.

Place half a shrimp on each xiu mai and continue cooking for 2min

Polish with a little sesame oil and enjoy by dipping in the garlic and ginger pepper sauce.
