Beef meatballs with Satay sauce
Ingredients:
- 500g of ground beef
- 3 tablespoons of AYAM ™ soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of AYAM ™ Garlic and Ginger pepper sauce
- 1 ½ tablespoons of cumin seeds
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 1 red onion, cut into thin wedges
- 1 red pepper, cut into strips
- 1 bunch of asparagus, cut into 5 cm long pieces
- 200g of soy sprouts
- 160g of AYAM ™ Thai Satay sauce
- 140ml of AYAM ™ coconut milk
Preparation:
- Combine the ground beef, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, chili sauce and cumin seeds.
- Make 8 flattened meatballs.
- Heat the oil in a non-stick pan, add the meatballs, cook over medium heat 2 minutes on each side or until cooked, set aside.
- Add the onion, pepper and asparagus to the pan, sauté for 2 minutes or until the vegetables are tender. Add the bean sprouts, sauté for 30 seconds, set aside.
- In a skillet, add the Satay sauce, coconut milk and 2 tablespoons of soy sauce. Stir until the whole is hot.
- Serve the meatballs and vegetables on plates. Cover the whole with the sauce.
