Lamb Chops marinated in Herbs
Ingredients:
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 8 cm from the base of a lemongrass stalk, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped ginger
- 1/4 cup firmly packed coriander leaves
- 1/3 cup tightly packed mint leaves
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 12 large lamb chops
- 1 tablespoon of AYAM ™ teriyaki sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon AYAM ™ sesame oil
Preparation:
- Combine all the ingredients, except the lamb, in a food processor. Mix until you get a smooth consistency. Then transfer the mixture to a large bowl.
- Carefully coat the lamb chops. (We had put the lamb in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. This helps the marinade to stick better to the meat.)
- Heat a pan or barbecue grill over high heat.
- Cook the meat, about 3 minutes per side, until the meat is to your liking.
- These delicious lamb chops are simply perfect served with vegetables or a salad.
- For added heat, serve with AYAM ™ Sriracha Chilli Sauce.
