Lacquered Veal Grenadine and Sweet Potato Mash
Ingredients:
- 600 g roast veal (tied up by your butcher)
- 2 tablespoons of Hoi Sin Sauce
- 1 tablespoon of AYAM ™ Soy Sauce
- 2 cuillères à soupe de concentre de de tomate
- Soupe à 1 honey cuillère
- ½ teaspoon of 5 spice powder
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
- 1 kg of sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into large pieces
- 2 tablespoons of AYAM ™ Garlic and Ginger Chili Sauce
- 1 spring onion, finely chopped
Preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
- Combine the Soy and Hoi Sin sauces, tomato paste, honey and 5 spice powder in a bowl.
- Heat the oil in a pan and sear the piece of veal on all sides until brown.
- Transfer to a baking dish and spread the sauce mixture over the veal.
- Cook for 30 minutes at medium heat, covering with sauce regularly. Take out of the oven and let stand 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, cook the sweet potato in boiling water. Drain and mash into a puree.
- Serve with sliced roast veal drizzled with garlic and ginger pepper sauce and spring onions.
