Pad Thai
Ingredients:
- 200g of organic AYAM ™ white rice noodles
- 200g minced chicken breast
- 2 teaspoons of AYAM ™ soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
- Pepper
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1,5 teaspoons of white vinegar
- 4 teaspoons of Nuoc Mam AYAM ™ sauce
- 2 teaspoons of AYAM ™ Sriracha Sauce
- Vegetable oil for cooking
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 10 raw shrimp, peeled
- 1 egg
- A few chopped green onions
- A few bean sprouts
- A few unsalted peanuts
- 1 lime wedge for serving
Preparation:
- Cook the rice noodles for 6 min in a saucepan of boiling water. Drain and set aside when cooked.
- Prepare the marinade: mix the chicken with the soy sauce and marinate for 30min in the refrigerator.
- In a bowl, combine the brown sugar with the pepper, chicken broth, white vinegar, fish sauce and Sriracha sauce.
- In a large wok over medium heat, brown the vegetable oil.
- Add the garlic and sauté for a few minutes.
- Add the marinated chicken (without the marinade) and the raw shrimp. Leave to cook for a few minutes.
- In the center of the wok, form a well and add the egg. Let it cook in scrambled egg then mix it with the chicken and shrimp.
- Add the pre-cooked rice noodles, soy marinade, and mix.
- Add the green onions, peanuts and bean sprouts. Mix everything well and serve hot.
