Chicken Sweet & Sour Sauce
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon of corn flour
- 500g chicken fillet, minced
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil
- 1 red pepper, finely diced
- 1 green pepper, finely diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 teaspoons of minced ginger
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 210ml of AYAM ™ sweet and sour sauce
- 1 tablespoon of AYAM ™ soy sauce
- 225g canned pineapple, chopped
Preparation:
- In a bowl, combine corn flour, chicken and egg.
- In a wok over medium heat, add 1 tablespoons of sunflower oil and cook the chicken pieces.
- Once cooked, set the chicken aside.
- In the same wok, add the 2nd tbsp. tablespoons of sunflower oil. Add the red and green peppers, onion, ginger and garlic. Sauté for a few minutes until the vegetables are cooked.
- Add the sweet and sour sauce and soy sauce. Mix.
- Add the pineapple and the chicken last, mix and cook for 5 minutes more until the sauce thickens and everything is well coated with the sauce.
