Sautéed Vegetables
Ingredients:
- 70ml of AYAM ™ oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons of AYAM ™ soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons of brown sugar
- 1 crushed garlic clove
- 1 teaspoon of AYAM ™ sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons of water
- 2 bunches of Chinese broccoli (or other vegetable)
- 1 tablespoon of toasted sesame seeds
Preparation:
- In a small saucepan, combine the oyster sauce, vegetable oil, soy sauce, sugar, garlic, sesame oil and water. Heat over low heat and stir until everything is heated through. To put out the fire.
- Cut the stems off the broccoli then slice them lengthwise. Bring a large pot of water to a boil over high heat. Add the broccoli, turn off the heat and blanch them for 2-3 minutes or until the stems are tender.
- Drain well and place on a serving dish. Pour the sauce over the broccoli and garnish with the sesame seeds.
Tips: Use other vegetables for the recipe - choy pak, choy sum, broccoli or asparagus.
